What We Do...

The purpose of the Seneca Historical Guild is to bring together people interested in history, and especially in the history of Seneca, Illinois. The Guild’s major function is to discover, collect, observe, advance, and disseminate knowledge of the history of Seneca.

More specifically…The Seneca Historical Guild’s mission is to gather and preserve historical facts and photos in preparation for the Village of Seneca’s 2015 Anniversary Celebration.

Meetings

Anyone who is either interested in:
(1) learning more about Seneca's history, or
(2) supporting our group activities
(3) wanting to contribute what they know to the community is welcome to attend. 

Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Seneca Village Hall at 340 North Cash Street.  There may be times when that date is changed due to scheduling conflicts.  Please check our

We operate as a 501c3 Not-For-Profit Organization.  There are no dues or fees associated with our organization.  Participation is voluntary and we welcome all newcomers!
